Nudenim
Nudenim is a micro enterprises that manufactures genuine leather products based in Garut, West Java.
Founded in 2001 by Deny Saputra with a capital of 2 million rupiah, Nudenim’s establishment was influenced by Deny Saputra’s post-graduation work experience and the inherited expertise from his father, Ukus.
Ukus was a skilled artisan in the field of leather tanning and had received the UPAKARTI award from the 2nd President of Indonesia, President Soeharto, in 1989 for his role in fostering micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Sukaregang, Garut.
Since 2004, Nudenim’s product range has expanded to include leather jackets, leather shoes, leather sandals, leather wallets, and other leather-based products.
Nudenim started gaining recognition both nationally and internationally in the fashion exhibition scene in 2005, with support from local government bodies and prominent Indonesian designers.
As the business continued to thrive, it gained popularity and employed up to 50 staff members. Nudenim also became a key speaker in various workshops and training sessions aimed at enhancing the design and craftsmanship of UMKM leather products.
Nudenim's Achiements
Nudenim has surpassed all expectations, showcasting their exceptional leather handicraft products domestically as well as abroad.
With sheer dedication, persistence and an unrivaled ability to craft the finest products, they have achieved the impressive milestone of of exporting 1.200 pieces of jackets per month.
In 2002, Nudenim began expanding its operations by supplying leather materials to various products, including Dunhill wallets, Buccheri shoes and sandals, and exporting bags to Bias in Tokyo, Japan.
This accomplishment is no doubt a testament to Nudenim’s unwavering commitment to excellence and their unwavering spirit to overcome all challenge.
They have proven that nothing is impossible when you have the passion and drive to succeed.
